Terms of Service

These terms apply to this website and to website builds and hosting purchased from Lura Marketing. Booking a call costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Work begins only after you accept a written quote.
What we sell
A five-page website, written and built by us, for a flat fee of $1,000. A version that also includes setting up or cleaning up your Google Business Profile is $1,500. Both are followed by $50 a month for hosting, the security certificate and backups. All prices are in Canadian dollars. Prices shown on this site apply to new orders and may change for future ones.
Payment
The build fee is paid upfront, before work starts. The $50 monthly fee begins when the site goes live and continues monthly until you cancel.
The 7 day timeline
We publish your site within 7 days of receiving everything we need from you: your services, service area, hours, phone number, license number and any photos. If that material arrives late or in pieces, the timeline moves with it. Two rounds of changes are included before launch, and further changes are quoted separately.
What you provide
You confirm that the business details, license number, photos and any other material you send us are accurate and that you have the right to use them. We rely on what you give us and do not verify it independently.
Hosting and cancellation
Hosting is month to month. You can cancel any time by emailing us, and the site comes offline at the end of the paid month. Your domain name is yours and stays registered in your name.
Your domain and your content
You own your domain, your business content and your photos. We will not use your material for anything other than building and running your site, except that we may show your finished site as an example of our work unless you tell us in writing not to.
What we do not promise
We build the site and set up the basics that help search engines read it. We do not promise any particular number of calls, leads, rankings or revenue, because those depend on your market, your pricing, your response time and factors outside anyone's control.
Availability
We aim to keep hosted sites online continuously, but no host is immune to outages, and we are not liable for losses caused by downtime, third-party service failures or events outside our control.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to our services is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version posted here at the time of your order is the one that applies to it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it. Any dispute is to be brought before the courts of the Province of Quebec.
